Daffs and Tulips

Daffs doing great but worried about it still being frosty and killing them off, tulips also doing well and cant wait to ee them out, wish i could say the same for the rest of the garden

DAY 29 SEEDS

Day 29 seeds wasnt doing to bad that was until i watered them, think i over did it a bit, its one of my problems each year i always tend to give them too much water and have posted this as a reminder to why i shouldnt do it. A friend said some time ago after telling me to never to water there plants that they think i do it because i think iam helping the plants by giving more water, ie the more water the better i give the better care iam giving, when will i learn!!!!
Theres still no sign of the begonias or petunias, the sweet willam were ok until i watered them, the toms, geraniums, pansys, gazanias and aster are all doing well, but there is still no sign of life from the mesems ad lobeila

Tubs

Yellow crocus

                                                                           Violets

                                                                White Crocus

The Yellow crocus seem to be doig well in the tubs hopefully it wont be to long before the white crocus and the violets start to flower. I started these in tubs just so i knew which was which and to make it easier to deside where i want them to go, the problem is i still havent decided, well i have but the part of the garden i want them in will be getting dug up soon, so do i put them there to see the out come for next year or leave them in the tubs

THE GARDEN

DAFFS AND TULLIPS COMING ON WELL, DAFFS ARE NOT FAR OFF FLOWERING, GETTING A BIT CONCERNED THAT WE ARE STILL HAVING OVERNIGHT FROSTS AND THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS NO SOONER HAD THE DAFFS FLOWERED THE FROST KILLED THEM ALL OFF.
AT THE END OF LAST YEAR BECAUSE THE GRASS WAS SO POOR AND  NOT LEVEL IVE RAISED THE LAWN AT ONE END BY 6 INCHES AND REMOVED THE GRASS ALTOGTHER THEN COVERED IT OVER TO KILL OFF ANYTHING IVE MISSED, I JUST NEED TO DECIDED IF IAM PUTTING TURF BACK DOWN OR ARTIFICAL GRASS. BEFORE I START ANY OF IT I NEED TO DIG A COUPLE OF TRENCHES WHILE ITS LIKE THIS FOR POWER CABLES AND A COUPLE OF TAPS, BECAUSE OF HEALTH I WONT BE ABLE TO DO ANY DIGGING UNTIL LATER IN THE YEAR IF AT ALL THIS YEAR WHICH IS GOING TO BE A PAIN WHEN I WANT TO SIT OUT AND RELAX

UPDATE ON TUBS

IVE PLANTED SOME CROCUS AND VIOLETS ON THE 10TH OF OCT LAST YEAR WHICH HAVE STARTED TO COME ON NOW, IVE PUT THEM IN TUBS SO THEY COULD BE COVERED JUST UNTIL WE SEE LAST OF THE FROST

SEED UPDATE DAY 15

15 DAYS AFTER SOWING THE SEEDS THERE COMING ON A TREAT, THE GERANIUM AND TOMS ARE BY FAR DOING THE BEST CLOSLEY FOLLOWED BY THE PANSYS SWEET WILLIAM ASTER AND GAZANIA. THE MESEMBRYANTHEMUM AND LOBELIA HAVE JUST POPPED THROUGH THE SOIL BUT THERES NO SHOW WITH THE BEGONIAS AND PETUNIAS YET
